WOLF HUNGER ~ Blog Tour

Wolf Hunger (Book 3 of the Dragon Heat series)
When the last box of deadly bullets is stolen, the hunt is on and the Vampire King’s band of fighters is set for the challenge of recovering it. But Yara, the shifter-witch, has other problems to face. She must help her leader to overcome the strange illness that has befallen her before it’s too late. For that, she must go back to the only place she swore never to return – her home land.
Rafe is a typical lone wolf who spends his nights earning his bucks in the fighting ring. When he was offered a pardon for his debts in exchange for the Vampire King’s head, he didn’t even blink, thinking it would be a hard mission but not impossible. He just wasn’t expecting the saucy shifter-witch to cross his path and ruin his plans. Now, he can’t get her out of his mind and the clock is ticking for him to make good on his word.
This is the third novel of the Dragon Heat series – a paranormal lover’s delight with vampires, shifters, dragons, witches and much more.

Dragon Heat – Book 1
3rd Place Winner of the “2013 Reviewer’s Choice Award” by the Paranormal Romance Guild, "Dragon
Heat – Book 1” is the love story between a wicked draconian demigoddess and the powerful vampire king.
Zoricah, the draconian demigoddess, has limited time to uncover a series of killings before one of her own meets the same fate. Determined not to let that happen, Zoricah has no other choice but to ask for the help of her race’s archenemy.
Tardieh, the Vampire King, has long learnt not to trust the Dragons but when the flames of passion ignite between him and Zoricah, he finds himself torn between overwhelming sexual heat and his centuries-old distrust.
Together they have to overcome their own prejudices before it is too late for their races and their love.

Vampire Thirst (Book 2 of the Dragon Heat series)
Nominated for the “Best Indie Paranormal Romance Book” award by the Indie Romance Convention 2014.
In "Vampire Thirst - Book 2", you will find out more about Samantha’s past (a human with strange powers), and her torrid love story with Hikuro, the vampire king's powerful second in command. After successfully rescuing the daughter of a draconian senator and other innocent women from a vampire psychopath, Sam and fellow warriors, Zoricah and Yara, have to trade sunny New York for gloomy London. Time is running out on their unfinished mission. More innocent people will die if they don’t catch the person behind the attacks in New York. But something is making Sam lose control of her powers. Something or someone. Ever since her first - and quite heated - encounter with Hikuro, her energies had gone haywire. The vampire king’s second in command affected her in a way no one had ever before. Her torment, however, is bound to get worse, with Hikuro’s unexpected arrival in London.
Ever since she set foot on vampire territory, Sam had turned Hikuro’s carefully controlled life upside down. He doesn’t trust her, but some strange force pulled him toward her; an inexplicable attraction that defies centuries of training. But if Hikuro is to keep his king safe, he must keep a close eye on Sam, even if he loses his sanity and his heart in the process.

In five words please describe your writing style:
Scattered brain, daydreamer, passionate and adventurous

Top three favorite titles (books or movies):
Oh, it's so hard to choose!
Interview with a vampire (the novel and the movie)
The Matrix (the first movie)
Leaving Microsoft to save the world (book by John Woods)

Do your leading characters come from any place in particular?
Yep, my heart. :)

What do you do in your down time?
My mind never stops so it's really hard for me to simply do nothing and just relax. I read novels, I watch movies, I sing and I dance.

Top five snacks while writing:
Pop corn!
Does red wine count as a snack?

What's your writing process?
I think about the characters for a few weeks, developing who they are, where they came from, and what cross-roads of life they are in. Then I write the first and maybe the second chapters, and then I eventually stop to draft the rest of the synopsis. I know it's a weird way of doing things but that's how my mind works.

Talk to us about your book, what is your favorite part or character?
I enjoyed writing the very first chapter, when Yara and Rafe meet at the fighting joint, the chapters when Yara and Rafe are in his wolf pack territory, the final battle... Oh, I can't choose!

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Got married! :) My husband was supposed to be a summer fling. That was 10 years ago.

Ella J Phoenix
Author Bio
I was just nine years old when I discovered my passion for the paranormal world. That passion led me to a bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts where I had my first taste in writing, conjuring children’s plays and re-writing Shakespearean masterpieces to suit the modern times (Yes, he’s still cringing in his grave).
After years travelling around the world, translating other people’s novels and devouring paranormal romances, I realized the real world wasn’t fun without a touch of magic, and decided to purge my own crazy stories into paper, well, into word doc, to be more precise.
My busy life with a demanding full time job and a very loving husband (I’m so not complaining!) doesn’t allow me much spare time, but somehow every night I find myself in front of the computer, exorcising the millions of stories stored in my sanity-challenged mind.
My novels are tales of love and passion between strong female leads and hot heroes, bathed in paranormal magic, of course.
I live in Sydney, Australia, the land of koalas (that are not bears), kangaroos (that are not boxing champions) and Vegemite (a black spread that should have never been invented. Seriously, don’t try it).
